Interstellar takes place in the 2070’s and mankind has begun its downfall. All crops have been plagued with a blight that renders it useless. This creates a dust bowl but, on a global scale. This pressures humanity to adapt rather than change. They change their history and make their past space mission seem as blunders. In the background we have the government secretly funding NASA in order to find habitual planets. This is where our hero is introduced Joe Cooper. Seen as a relic of the past as he believes in the old way of doing things.

Cooper, Dr. Brand, Romily, Doyle, CASE, and TARS are dealt with the task of retrieving the Lazarus missions. All scientist’s unanimously decided to head towards Miller’s planet as it was the closes and had the most reliable information. However, the problem with Miller’s planet was time for every hour spent in the planet seven years would pass. Miller is found no-where in site and is presumed dead and Doyle is killed in the process. Both Cooper and Brand return to the ship only to discover that 23 years had gone by.

After the tragedy of Doyle the crew was given a dilemma. They only had enough fuel to head to one planet and back to Earth or a round trip to both planets. Back on Earth we find out that Professor Brand had lied about the formula and knew from the start that Earth would not survive. Professor Brand then passes and Murphy then relays the message back to Cooper and company.

The crew heads to go towards Dr. Mann’s planet only to discover that he had falsified all of his documents in hopes of going back home. Here Mann kills Romilly and almost kills Cooper. Mann then begins to try and dock his ship onto the Endurance but accidentally blows himself up. This forces the crew to dock an already damaged ship and are forced to head towards the last planet.

Cooper then decides to use Newton’s basic laws in-order to ensure that Brand would successfully arrive to Edmund’s planet. Cooper does this by sacrificing himself and TARS in order to study a black hole. Cooper then finds himself in a black hole, a fifth dimension, and finds himself as the ghost. He then relies this information to Murphy as he is able to manipulate Murphy’s room due to his fifth dimension.

This concludes with Cooper waking in Cooper Station and it is revealed his daughter cracked gravity and that Brand had was alive and well on Edmund’s planet. The story then ends with Cooper and TARS heading towards Brand and her Planet.
