Amelia Brand is the daughter of Professor Brand. She is seen as a committed scientist who will do what is necessary in order to save Earth. She can be seen as a mirror to Cooper but is much colder. She is extremely enthusiastic about Plan B and is much more adapt for science rather than emotion. Dr. Brand is also given the burden of colonizing the New Earth all alone.
